Osama Bin Laden's Body Buried at Sea, Sounds Fishy

Politics

News continues to drip out of the White House and into the media-sphere on the purported details surrounding the assassination of Osama Bin Laden by U.S. special forces, who had apparently been holed up for several years in a luxury mansion in the town of Abbottabad some 60 miles north of the Pakistani capital, Islamabad.

The latest information is concerning what has happened to Bin Laden's body which according to several US mainstream news networks has been buried at sea, without elaborating on any further details.

US officials immediately responded by stating "We are ensuring that it is handled in accordance with Islamic practice and tradition."

The mainstream media is speculating that the reason for the burial at sea being to ensure that there is no shrine for Bin Laden's followers.

This all sounds rather fishy, after having expended so much time and resources it is highly unlikely that burial at sea has actually taken place but rather being used as a cover story to perpetuate the time line of events that Washington prefers to be accepted when the actual truth of when and where things actually happened leading upto Bin Laden's death and subsequent events may be significantly different than that which is being broadcast across the mainstream news media.

The facts are that an increasingly financially broke United States needs to withdraw from the costly Afghanistan occupation (as already announced by President Obama) and the primary reason for invading and occupying Afghanistan was to get Bin Laden, therefore it is timely for Bin Laden to be suddenly found, killed and quickly disposed of at sea therefore paving the way for the U.S. to say siagnora to Afghanistan.

It may well be that Bin Laden had already died several years ago of kidney failure and it was in U.S. geopolitical interests to keep Bin Laden alive up until the decision to withdraw from Afghanistan. Skeptical ? Remember that the Iraq War that has cost upwards of 100,000 lives was undertaken under the basis of 100% Bush and Blair lies.

Osama Bin Laden: Taken Alive?

It sounds fishy to me too as I'm not even sure that they invited AP news reporters to witness the event (let alone view the supposed corpse). Why the sudden rush with the sea burial? I don't suppose that this could be some sort of smoke screen to cover up the fact that they actually took Bin Laden alive?

Just a prop for Obama's beleaguered presidency

This smells like "wag the dog" to high heaven! I don't care how much credit he gives to "Our brave men & women of the military." The bottom line is, come election season it will be one of the few things he can point to: "Remember, they got Bin Laden on MY watch, not the GOP!" This seems so lame. The only corroboration is some pakistani on twitter who saw some sort of black-ops going on about a half-mile away from where he was tweeting. Then we have the burial at sea. Why would the international community not want more closure than a body gone MIA? Under the circumstances, I just can't buy this whole dog-and-pony show that's being put on by the white-house PR boys. Then there's the DNA testing. When did we ever have conclusive DNA from Bin Laden to compare this to? To make a positive ID, you need previous DNA for comparison. When did we obtain that? And how sure are we that it's genuine? The whole thing is more fishy than a burial at sea. There's just too much here that merely benefits the beleaguered Obama administration in it's hour of direst need, with no concrete substantiation, no body, and no objective witnesses. Phoney-Baloney!

Osama Bin Laden: " A way for Obama to save face "

I think it's all a hoax, I don't think they got Osama Bin Laden, because this rush to bury him at sea doesn't make a bit of sense. There's something fishy about the whole thing.

I don't trust the president at all. I think he's trying to get the american people to approve of him again, because of the elections comming up. I also agree with John, how would they have gotten his DNA ? They said they compared his DNA to his sisters DNA, How did they get hers?? Would she voluntier that information to hurt her brother??? I doubt it.
