How Recent Foreign Currency Fluctuations Affected Major Stocks / Companies / Company Chart Analysis
Investors can never shy away from the stock market because of the several benefits that come with investing in income generating assets. However, over the last few quarters, this market has been greatly affected by the non-income generating assets such as commodities and currencies.

Multinational companies listed on major exchanges such as the NYSE, NASDAQ and the London Stock Exchange have been affected by global currency fluctuations as the USD, the GBP and JPY among other major currencies continue to fluctuate from one reporting quarter to the next.

General Electric Gets Out At The Top / Companies / Company Chart Analysis
Back in the early 2000s, General Electric -- previously known as the world's biggest, best managed maker of cool, useful things like jet engines and wind turbines -- discovered that it could make even more money by exploiting its AAA credit rating to borrow cheap currency and lend it out at higher rates. It ramped up its vendor financing, enabling customers to buy more of its stuff, and built a real estate empire that spanned the globe.

CAT to Follow Crude Oil Price to $40.00? / Companies / Company Chart Analysis
Is it reasonable to assume that so goes Crude Oil, so goes Caterpillar? Perhaps it is, or perhaps not, but the price charts of these two economic giants do show a fair degree of correlation.
Some Motley Fools I know think there may be some fundamental correlations as well.
Interestingly, both properties share downside price targets of $40.00 dollars. The major difference is that Crude is very much leading the way with a recent print low of $44.78 per barrel, which is not too far from our technical target.

Top Approaching in Berkshire Hathaway Stock? / Companies / Company Chart Analysis
Editor's note: The following article originally appeared in a special September-October double issue of Robert Prechter's Elliott Wave Theorist, one of the longest-running financial letters in the business.
It piques our interest when a person or company makes the front page of a magazine or newspaper. On August 15, USA Today ran an article with a chart on the share-price performance of Warren Buffett's company, Berkshire Hathaway. The Guardian and other papers covered the news, too, which was that the stock had cleared $200,000/share.

Rising Stock Market Does Not Lift All Stocks / Companies / Company Chart Analysis
We advocate a proactive stance in managing one’s stock portfolio as the most prudent way to preserve and grow capital, by capturing gains and limiting risks. The days of buy and hold are finished, at this stage of a central bank propped-up market, fed by fiat and highly questionable reports issued by the Bureau of Lies, which seems an accurate assessment.
There are several charts to be shown, and where a picture may be worth 1,000 words, we can limit we say and defer to what the market has to say. After all, the market is the best source and always the final arbiter.

Starbucks Bull Market in Expensive Coffee / Companies / Company Chart Analysis
Today's chart is yet another reminder that things "can't be all that bad" for the U.S. economy. After all, Americans are still buying expensive coffee.
Over the past couple years, we've featured many charts that demonstrate America may not be booming, but it can't be doing "all that bad." For example, we've shown you the strength in home-improvement stocks, banking stocks, manufacturing stocks, and hotel stocks. Today, we're adding "luxury coffee" to the list. Starbucks is soaring.
