Invest in the Top Telecom in the "New China" Before the Herd Piles In / Companies / China Stocks

By: Money_Morning

Best Financial Markets Analysis ArticleG.S. Early writes: How would you like to get in on the ground floor of the telecom market in a country I've dubbed the "New China"?

It's a country that boasts:

•6% annual GDP growth before, after and during and the global economic meltdown.
•The fourth largest population on the planet. It is also one of the youngest (median age is 28).
•A centuries-long social and economic connection to China and every strategic Southeast Asian economy.
•Foreign Direct Investment that has grown exponentially in the teeth of the global crisis.
•A bigger economy than the Netherlands or Turkey.
I'm talking about Indonesia.

Apple Stock Vulnerable / Companies / Company Chart Analysis

By: Mike_Paulenoff

From my technical, point-and-figure chart perspective, it was very disconcerting to see Apple (AAPL) give up its earlier rally gains from 583 to 594, because the ensuing decline wrecked an otherwise promising PF double low at 583.

Since then, the price structure has swooned again to break the double low at 583 with a 582 print. Although AAPL recovered to 585-586 after its marginal new PF low, the fact remains that AAPL has made a new low in a series of lower-PF-lows off of Tuesday's recovery high PF print at 620.

By: Money_Morning

Best Financial Markets Analysis ArticleLarry D. Spears writes: If you looked at just the first-quarter results you could be forgiven for thinking that everything in the stock market is rosy.

The Dow Jones Industrials and the S&P 500 turned in their best performances since 1998, rising 8.14% and 12.0%, respectively.

Meanwhile, the Nasdaq was even stronger, riding a tech-stock rally to a gain of nearly 19% - its best yearly start since 1991.

By: Money_Morning

By: Fast_Graphs

Diamond Rated - Best Financial Markets Analysis ArticleThis article screened the industrial sector searching for companies that offer above-average forecast earnings growth of 15% to 20% or better that could be purchased at an attractive valuation.  Although each of these companies pays a dividend, due to the cyclical nature of this industry we encourage the reader to carefully review the dividend history on each individual company.

Stock Market Volatility Is Not Risk / Companies / Corporate Earnings

By: Charles_Carnevale

Best Financial Markets Analysis ArticleThis article was inspired by Roger Nusbaum's post on his Random Roger blog - Sunday Morning Coffee on Sunday, April 8, 2012. Roger is a highly respected financial blogger that I believe is genuinely interested in providing his readers meaningful and prudent investment advice and guidance. Therefore, I have a great deal of respect for his work and intentions. On the other hand, Roger and I often disagree on certain investing principles, especially those that deal with asset allocation, proper diversification and the definition of risk. However, I would hope that he respects my differing views as being offered with the same best of intentions, as I see his offerings.

By: Fast_Graphs

Best Financial Markets Analysis ArticleCrane Co. (CR) is a diversified manufacturer of highly engineered products with over $2.5 billion in sales. Fluid Handling is their largest segment with $1.1 billion in sales, followed by Aerospace & Electronics with $6.78 million, followed by Merchandising Systems with $374 million, followed by Engineered Materials with $220 million, and finally Controls with $120 million. However, in spite of their diversified businesses, the historical earnings record of this high-quality Mid-cap suffers from periods of cyclicality (see earnings graph below). Therefore, even though the company has strung together seven consecutive years of dividend increases that qualify it as a Dividend Challenger, prospective investors should consider their past record of dividend freezes during cyclical times.
