I won't bore you with worthless academic models that started from a 0.8c rise this century ranging all the way to +3c. The IPCC still cling onto hopes of limiting a rise in average temperatures to just +2c, on the basis of the world going carbon net zero by 2050 by means of removing 11gt of carbon per year, IPCC fiction vs current reality of just 2 million tonnes of carbon removal per year or 0.02% of target! It's too late where even as if by magic the clown politicians all sat down and agreed to go carbon neutral right now won't make any difference because Co2 is NOT the PRIMARY DRIVER! It's what tipped the climate over the edge in search of a new higher equilibrium, the temperature will now rise regardless of what humanity does to limit carbon emissions.

In practical terms, humanity collectively has done absolutely NOTHING to cut back on carbon emissions so it's no wonder that that rate of increase in co2 in the atmosphere remains on an exponential trend trajectory. Back in 1999 the suits were aiming to cap co2 at 400 parts per million, today it is now over 425 ppm. in 25 years time it will probably be approaching 500ppm as in reality nothing will be done given that people want to have better lives, they want to eat meat every day not once a month or even once a year as used to be the case in centuries past. So we are a long way from even stabilising the system let alone reversing damage that is being done, look at the graph, what has been done since 2000 to prevent climate change? The answer is NOTHING! Instead the exact opposite has transpired!

Artificial - made or produced by human beings rather than occurring naturally, especially as a copy of something natural.
Neural networks are a black box, they are not a copy of something natural i.e. are an emergent property, a different form of intelligence, in the past I've called this Alien Intelligence but that is a bit Sci-fi sounding, maybe a better word that could eventually become widespread should be Synthetic Intelligence since it is a form of intelligence and not artificial i.e. the intelligence is real, but different to human intelligence.
