Czar Putin after overseeing his goostepping troops in Red Square flew to Sevastopol, Crimea to undertake his own Bush-esk 'Mission Accomplished' boat ride to inspect the newly annexed territory to the Russian Empire.

This whilst the mainstream press fell for his smoke and mirrors statements of an apparent u-turn on today's (Sunday 11th May) Independence referendum to be held in at least 2 eastern regions of Ukraine that have been immersed in a downwards spiral towards outright civil war and also apparently Putin now no longer opposes the Ukrainian national presidential election scheduled for 25th of May 2014 and even went so far to state that he had ordered his troops away from the border.

Whilst the truth is that Putin LIES, LIES, LIES and then LIES some more. Remember the Crimea invasion by thousands of masked Russian troops? At the time Putin categorically stated that they were NOT Russian troops but local people rising up against oppression from Kiev and similarly NATO sees no evidence of Russian troops budging an inch from the border with Ukraine.

The question is what is Putin's revised cunning plan for the annexation of approx 50% of Ukraine?

The Human Rights Watch is monitoring the situation because even they can see the potential for war crimes by the stooges in Kiev. People want to break free, and are getting punished for that! David45 11 May 14, 10:45	Begone Russia Anna Politkovskya was a Russian journalist who reported on the Russian campaign (some have called it a genocide) against Chechen separatists. The powers that be (Mr Vladimir Putin) in Moscow were not at all happy with Miss Politkovsky's reporting. In the year 2006 she was assassinated in the apartment block in which she lived - not a random murder, someone had a motive to murder Anna. The Russian State had a motive, and (as I said earlier, the Putin puppet ruler of Chechnya had a motive). At this point in time, eight years later, nobody has been found responsible for Anna's death. This is the way of Russia - begone with you Russia, you have no part to play in the modern world. David
Ingrid 11 May 14, 13:57	Anna Politkovskya I have also read the book by Anna Politkovskya diary. It was published after she was murdered by Putins henchmen. Any one who thinks living under Putin rule is good, first should keep their mouth shut unless they have lived in the Communist states Russia ruled, or until they have read her book. You will change your mind. Give me America any day. Some people should educate them selves about Russia. Looking at a person like Putin on the TV is nothing like the person he is. Ingrid
Yuriy 11 May 14, 21:54	lies about Ukraine what we see in two eastern Ukrainian regions is something similar to Taliban that was formed by US to resist USSR. Everyone should be clear that gunmen are terrorists and Russian special agents. First ones are sponsored by the bloody money of the old regime. Second you know by whom... Previous government was outright corrupt and most of local mafia except the very top is still governing that area especially police and local governments. Honest people that have nothing to hide or gain from terrorism sit tight there. The source of all trouble is Russia. And unfortunately until this terrorism center is liquidated, we will see a European decade of terrorism.
