Companies Influencer marketing is a huge trend in marketing right now. There are millions of new articles that appear online every single minute. That is why the very best content that a business creates can easily get lost in the loop. It is always important to get people to see the content that you create. Without this any content marketing campaign will fall flat. Out of all the ways in which you could promote something on the internet these days, using influencers is what tends to be highly engaging. It is not at all difficult to find influencers in any industry.


The good news for marketers is that influencer marketing is not going to change much in the near future. This is because it already is at a point at which things go really well for businesses. With this in mind, here are the predictions you need to be aware of.

Rich Media Influencers Will Be Preferred

Rich media based platforms like Instagram and YouTube are proving to be more effective than others in influencer marketing. This is mainly because people start to avoid text and media options like videos and images are preferred.

Social media in general is where the best influencers can be found. Simply sharing something on these networks from influencer accounts leads to better engagement and results than writing a blog post. The influencers that are producing rich media content will be the ones that will be contacted by the biggest brands in the following months.

Contracts Will Be A Norm


In many situations we saw influencer marketing being based on agreements that were not put in writing. This was really bad since it did not protect anyone involved. In the future we will see a constant increase in rules and regulations. It is a sign that the industry is actually growing. Everyone involved is thus protected. This includes consumers, brands and influencers.

Bartering was preferred by brands some time ago as the influencer received free products when mentioning something on social media or when writing a post on a blog. The problem is that this created a bartering culture where many influencers simply wrote about products only if they received something for free. This is no longer going to be the case as a rate is going to be determined for what value is provided by the influencer. Influencers will offer pricing guidance together with details about what is presented.

New Influencer Marketing Platforms Will Appear

As influencer marketing becomes accepted by more and more brands we are bound to see brand new platforms that will be launched to help businesses get in touch with the best possible influencers. Smart marketers will have to keep an eye on these since one of the biggest problems is usually finding an influencer that comes to the table with a very strong buying community.

Marketers also face different challenges when they work with an influencer. That is why a focus will definitely be put on payment processing, budget guidance, management, relationship development and campaign insights.
