Dumb Monkeys And The Stock Market

Best Financial Markets Analysis ArticleRally, as forecast by the indicators. Two market sayings perplex me: Only monkeys pick bottoms; No-one rings a bell at the bottom.

I believe the salient question now is, will we get a third buying opportunity, with another low towards the end of summer? Or do we take off from here and not look back?

Are we really dumb subjects, rather than intelligent beings? Look at how the stock market has been pushed and pulled by the lunar phase and by geomagnetism (represented by the Planetary A index in the first chart and cross-referenced into the second). The solar and lunar phenomena combined have 'steered' the stock market index, with geomagnetic disturbance influencing shorter term direction within a fortnightly lunar ebb and flow.

I would suggest we are both intelligent beings AND dumb subjects. Embracing lunar and solar influences to trade the markets could be considered intelligently understanding our dumbness. To understand why the sun and moon influence the markets read more here:

Looking ahead to July, we have a new moon 1st July and a full moon 15th July. There are just two small windows of geomagnetism forecast, as shown in the table below by the Planetary A Index. Note that geomagnetism forecasts can change and like weather forecasts cannot be totally accurate.

US earnings start 11th July.

So how might we read this as a forecast? Upward pressure into and around the new moon of tomorrow. The first window of geomagnetism falls in this coming weekend and is expected to be relatively mild so the market may escape significant influence, but we could see a down day on Monday. Next week may see some consolidation of the rally, before seeing some downward pressure into and around the full moon of July 15th, which is followed by the second window of geomagnetism mid-week the following week, for continued downside. Following that, we should turn up again into the end of July as we approach the next new moon.
