Three Surprising Places You See Cryptocurrency

Currencies / BlockChain Jan 12, 2018 - 02:35 PM GMT

Currencies

The rise of cryptocurrency has been as controversial as it has fast. People are either declaring it as the new way of fighting back against banks, of taking control and most importantly, it seems, making big money. While others see it as a bubble that will soon burst, a passing fad, a nerds wet dream destined to be something we talk about and laugh at in the near feature. Bitcoin of course is the current darling of the cryptocurrency world with its status being a common topic of discussion of every business news channel, in every newspaper and across social networking sites.

Bitcoin has proven, or at the very least seems to have proven, that cryptocurrency is here to stay, that it is something that has started a revolution and let a new idea out of a box that it is not going to go back into. So many people have heard of cryptocurrency and bitcoin but what few people seem to have realised is just how ubiquitous it is within everyday life. It feels, for many, like numbers on a computer, something which you cannot actually have for yourself or use for yourself. Others seem to feel that with bitcoin seemingly beginning to plateau and reaching incredible prices that it might be too late to hop onto the bitcoin bandwagon. Forecasts are split about exactly what is going to happen but some people feel they have missed the boat.

However that is not entirely the case and the opportunities to pick up or use cryptocurrency are far wider and in far more places than many people realise. There are a number of simple and everyday places where we can see and use cryptocurrency. Here are three of the most interesting.

Bookmakers
Betting has always been a place that has been willing to embrace and foster innovation. Things like cash out, odds boosting and betting in play have revolutionised the way people bet on sport and in terms of embracing cryptocurrency bookmakers are once again ahead of the game. Bookmarkers like 1xbet bookmaker allow you to make deposits using sixteen different cryptocurrencies. There are a number of stories about punters who decided to deposit in bitcoin and then forget about it only to find out they were instantly rich because they had made a simple decision to use cryptocurrency when they made a deposit.

With so many different bookmakers out there, it makes sense to use one that seems to have a forward thinking and customer centric attitude. It is clear that some places saw cryptocurrency as a way to make customer more comfortable and give them more options. It is then a simple and easy way to get into cryptocurrency whilst also having the chance to win some money.

Cashpoints
The humble hole in the wall is now far more advanced that it has ever been. It is easy to remember the excitement when some cash points would allow you to take out money from other countries or help you by having different language options so the fact you can now use them to buy, sell and look into cryptocurrency is very exciting. In the United States alone there are over 1000 different ATM’s you can pick up bitcoin at with a total of 61 different countries having bitcoin ATMs from Sweden to Nigeria to China they are spread across the world. These machines make it much simpler and easier to pick up and learn about cryptocurrency. They cut out the need for a middle man who talks in jargon and just confuses you more about something the can be very simple.

Travel Agencies.
Finally, a number of different holiday planning services are now making it even easier to book and pay for travel by allowing you to pay using bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies and many of them will help by easily and simply talking you through how to pay with cryptocurrency as well as how they work out their exchange rates and the cost. Many of them will even let you split the cost using many different currencies be them regular or crypto and will ensure that you get a fair deal and an easy rate. It is easy to see then how bitcoin and cryptocurrency is becoming popular in everyday life. It is clearly something that is here to stay and things like travel agencies are helping to make it seem like something everyone will be using sooner rather than later.
