Finance is a good subject for you if you like to think about numbers, bonds, stocks and financial markets. You will do pretty well if you consider a finance major. In this post, we will focus on the finance major jobs and help you learn what a graduate with a finance degree can do.

Finance majors acquire many different skills needed to assess the qualitative and quantitative dimensions of businesses. If you have a finance degree, you are expected at least to be able to deal with spreadsheets.

If you are a serious student, there is no doubt that you will get a decent job with a finance degree. Now let’s see what jobs are awaiting a graduate with a degree in finance.

Financial analyst

Financial analysts have to combine their knowledge of multiple disciplines such as economics, accounting, and mathematics. If you are a financial analyst, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing a lot of data. You will also have to help your employer make important decisions about investment and management.

To become a financial analyst, you need a bachelor’s degree in finance. Remember, this is the minimum requirement. You will get more opportunities if you have more qualifications. The average salary of a financial analyst is $59,026 in the US.

Financial manager

If you have a degree in finance, you can dream of becoming a financial manager. All financial managers do not shoulder the same types of responsibilities. Your responsibilities will greatly depend on the size of the company you are working for.

This is one of the best jobs you can get with a finance degree. In a large company, your tasks will be mostly strategic analysis. In a small company, a financial manager collects and prepares accounts.

The tasks of a financial manager also include reviewing financial reports, managing budgets, and analyzing market trends. In the US, the average salary of a financial manager is $70,573.

Chartered accountant

Yes, you can become a chartered accountant if you have a degree in finance. Finance students learn many things about accountancy, and it can be one of the best careers with a finance degree.

Chartered accountants are employed by private companies, government bodies and multinational organizations. As a chartered accountant, you will give financial advice, undertake financial audits, and manage financial budgets and systems.

A chartered accountant specializes in a particular area such as taxation, corporate finance, forensic accountancy, management consultancy, or auditing. It is a good idea to find an area that you already find interesting. In the US, the average salary of a chartered accountant is $84,267.

Nobody can become a good chartered accountant without becoming a good student. As a student, you often need to use an essay plagiarism checker for various purposes. There are many online plagiarism checkers, and you must choose a good checker that can help you check the originality of your papers. You can find a good one if you are a bit inquisitive.

Financial adviser

In the foreseeable future, it will be a very lucrative career in finance. Financial advisors are also known as wealth managers or financial planners. As a financial adviser, you will have to help your clients manage their money, choose savings, investments, mortgages and pensions.

If you are naturally inclined to finance and numbers, you will find it easier to take preparation for this career. As a serious student, you have to write your own essays. But in some cases, you will need an essay checker. The good news is, you can easily find a free online plagiarism checker.

In this role, you must know and follow the rules of the industry. Apprenticeship is the traditional way to get into this career. In the US, the average salary of a financial adviser is $58,590.

Attorney

If you are a lawyer, you will have to deal with the issues of divorce, civil litigation, product liability, labor, corporate and securities law. The knowledge of finance will immensely help you in all these cases. If you have a degree in finance, there is a great chance that you will do well as an attorney.

Again, to study something really well, you must write academic papers. Even if you are one hundred percent honest and you write your own papers, sometimes you will need a plagerism checker to check your papers. Your studies will be more enjoyable if you find a good plagiarism checker.

It orders to become a good attorney, you need research and analytical skills. Your studies in finance will help you gain these skills. The average earning of an attorney is $120,910 in the US.

These are a few career options for a graduate with a degree in finance. But different disciplines are interrelated, and that is why many other sectors require knowledge of finance. If you are a serious student, a lot of amazing jobs are waiting for you.
