The financial industry and investments on a whole have continued to advance greatly in the last decade. This all comes down to Fintech, which is being incorporated into the running of virtually all major businesses. Whether this be bookmakers and how they control finances. This includes the coral new customer offer, which enables players to have an added bonus when using them. It also covers how people are now using their finances with investment.

Fintech started out with the likes of ATM’s, online banking and the internet on a whole. This has then led to endless tech start-ups and the emergence of cryptocurrency. The latter has seen major growth in the last decade since they hit the market. This following Bitcoin hitting the market, which has fluctuated greatly over time. Fintech is playing a major role in how they are being traded around the world and in most forms of investment in general.

Blockchain is another form of Financial technology that has seen major investment in recent times. They are known for having a lower level of risk in their investment, which is why they remain such a popular choice for many. This and other forms of Fintech are being created in order to help improve different services, such as investment and payment processing for businesses and individuals.

Much of Fintech start-ups have been involved in businesses and banking. Many are focussed around stopping fraud and theft, which has continued to be an issue with the growth of technology in this digital age we live in. There are many examples of these Fintech companies such as Bitpay, PayPal and Braintree.

The first mentioned was Bitpay, which is a Fintech company that was made for a tool in cryptocurrency investment. It started in 2011, and now helps large numbers of businesses to accept payments from different websites and even through email. It is also being used as a means of a bitcoin portfolio, so people can manage their investments at all times.

PayPal is another Fintech investment that has made a real impact, sitting in the payment processing section. It first hit the market in 2002, and has continued to grow into a business making a revenue of around $15 billion. This gives an indication of the level PayPal is now at in the business world. PayPal is a hugely popular means of payment for businesses and individuals at present, covering credit service and it also offers transfers.

PayPal is now one of the most used services in the world and available across virtually anywhere in the world. It is so popular for businesses and individuals, as it offers a safe means of transferring money in comparison to just using your bank. Braintree has also now been created as a service of PayPal, and helps with accept and processing mobile payments.
