Warning Stock Market May Go Off the Cliff, Stagflation Like Never Before / Stock-Markets / Stock Markets 2019
Welcome to this week’s Market Wrap Podcast, I’m Mike Gleason.
Coming up Michael Pento of Pento Portfolio Strategies joins me for a tremendous interview on what he sees as pending doom in the stock market and why he believes we’re in for a bout of stagflation that will make the 1970s look like a walk in the park. He also makes a compelling case for gold during an interest rate environment that he believes will soon be turning profoundly negative in real terms. So don’t miss a must-hear interview with Michael Pento, coming up after this week’s market update.
Following yesterday’s Independence Day celebrations, perhaps more Americans will wake up to the need to declare their independence from the financial system. One of the best ways to do that is by shifting dollar-denominated wealth from bank and brokerage accounts into physical precious metals.
Although the public isn’t yet clamoring in huge numbers to buy bullion, we have seen some encouraging price action of late in metals markets. The main fireworks have been in gold – rising to a multi-year high – and palladium.

Ladies and Gentlemen, it has finally happened! The current expansion already goes on for 121 months, which means that the previous record of 120 months is now history. Thus, it has become the longest economic boom in the U.S. history. Should we celebrate now? Or should we worry, as all good things come to an end, and whatever lasts long, ends up even faster? Is the U.S. economy in a good shape or on the edge of collapse? Let’s make an assessment!

Stock Markets Don’t Care About the News, Nasdaq 10,000? / Stock-Markets / Stock Markets 2019
Markets popped higher this morning after a weekend of good news: The Donald and Xi Jinping have agreed to a temporary truce in the U.S.-China trade war. The Donald has eased trade restrictions on Huawei. And The Donald made nice with North Korea. On Friday, I explained that markets were at that critical point where they could either roll over and die or zoom to the moon. Today’s market action shows we’re clearly following the Dark Window that I forecast back in January already. I hope you’re taking advantage of it.
I first mentioned the Dark Window opportunity in January. While I’ve updated you on the market’s progress along this scenario many times since then, it’s been a long time since I spelled out my forecast. So, in light of today’s market madness, let’s take a trip down memory lane and re-read an email I sent you on January 9th.

Sheffield River Don 'Banksy' Sculptures - Must See Art Work! / Local / Sheffield
Sheffield has a new hidden gem courtesy of our own river Banksy that most Sheffielders let alone visitors to the city will be totally unaware of. Painstakingly erected Sculptures IN the river Don that first started appearing 3 years ago and currently number more than 20. The sculptures can be found just behind the Wicker, not far from where Castle Market once stood, and can be viewed from the embankment as well as the road bridge and foot bridge.
This video shows the 20+ sculptures as they were in July 2019, that includes footage of the artist at work so you get to see how these magical pieces of art were put together in situ, in the river. So if your in Sheffield then do pop down and see them whilst they last as all it take is a few days of heavy rain fall for the river Don to wash many of the 20+ pieces away.

Stock Market Surging 25%... or Falling 25%? / Stock-Markets / Stock Markets 2019
I sent a market update to Boom & Bust subscribers in our 5 Day Forecast last Monday. I explained that stocks saw their biggest correction since late 2011, which makes that a 4th wave correction leading into a 5th wave final blow-off rally… what I have been calling the Dark Window scenario. My target is around 10,000 on the leading index, the Nasdaq, and around 33,000 on the Dow.It’s likely we saw the first wave up into early May with two more strong surges ahead. We have just made new highs on the Dow and S&P 500, with the Nasdaq coming close to a new high.
Is this a breakout in the next wave up?

JLR Electric Land Rovers Coming Soon Following Climate Change Collapse of Diesel Car Sales / ConsumerWatch / Land Rover
So Jaguar Land Rover has finally woken up to realise that the petro car age is coming to an end so it is going to invest £1 billion in developing electric cars. This follows the announcement of a record £3.6 billion annual loss and 6,500 job losses last year following the collapse of diesel sales which has seen a 50% CRASH in UK new car sales due to increasing climate change panic and government announcements to move towards a zero carbon emissions economy by 2050
Where carbon emissions are concerned, the number 1 culprit is transport that generates green house gasses of more than twice that of conventional power stations with emissions down less than 3% since 1990.

Will Millennials Decide the Next US Presidential Election? / ElectionOracle / US Presidential Election 2020
The recent Democratic presidential primary debates were a lot of fun… said no one.As the process unfolds, I vote that Andrew Yang gets the first question at every debate, since he was given all of three minutes out of 120 on Thursday night. And Marianne Williamson gets to interject anytime she wants, because she’s so off the wall as to be entertaining during an otherwise dreadful affair. If she ever sings “All You Need Is Love,” a Capella on the debate stage, I’ll strongly consider giving her my vote.
But back to the debates…

Gold’s Summer Doldrums? / Commodities / Gold & Silver 2019
Gold’s incredible strength this summer is very unusual, as early summers are the weakest times of the year seasonally for gold, silver, and their miners’ stocks. With traders’ attention diverted to vacations and summer fun, interest in and demand for precious metals normally wane. So this entire sector tends to suffer a seasonal lull, along with the general markets. This June’s bull-market breakout is a momentous anomaly.
This doldrums term is very apt for gold’s usual summer predicament. It describes a zone in the world’s oceans surrounding the equator. There hot air is constantly rising, creating long-lived low-pressure areas. They are often calm, with little or no prevailing winds. History is full of accounts of sailing ships getting trapped in this zone for days or weeks, unable to make headway. The doldrums were murder on ships’ morale.
Crews had no idea when the winds would pick up again, while they continued burning through their limited stores of food and drink. Without moving air, the stifling heat and humidity were suffocating on these ships long before air conditioning. Misery and boredom were extreme, leading to fights breaking out and occasional mutinies. Being trapped in the doldrums was viewed with dread, it was a very trying experience.

Gold and Silver Uber-Bull Run Is Upon Us / Commodities / Gold & Silver 2019
GLD (SPDR Gold Shares NYSE) is the world's largest gold-centric Exchange Traded Fund (ETF). On Friday June 21, 2019 – one day after The Gold and Silver Volcano is Ready to Erupt was posted on this site – a record single day's inflow (gold buying) of over $1.5 billion took place.
This stampede, led by hedge funds and "algos" (automated computer buy/sell programs based upon volume flows and trigger price points) involved dollar amounts substantially eclipsing the record set during the 2008 global panic.
The price of gold rose to a 6-year high, left a series of gaps on the way up, and smashed through all sorts of technical "resistance" points on traders' charts around the globe.

The Fed May Give Trump His Interest Rate Cut, but It Won’t Help / Interest-Rates / US Interest Rates
Investors are in a buying mood despite many economic warning signs. Why?For some, it’s because they expect the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates and otherwise “stimulate” the economy. They believe (correctly) it would drive stock and real estate prices higher.
At the risk of stating the obvious… higher asset prices mainly benefit those who own the assets. Which, in the stock market’s case, is not most Americans.

Precious 'Mettle'- Gold Bullish Breakout / Commodities / Gold & Silver 2019
Precious metals expert Michael Ballanger discusses the mettle necessary to trade precious metals at this time. "Mettle"—the ability to cope with difficulties or to face a demanding situation in a spirited and resilient way.
Given the performance of my beloved Gold and Gold Miners in the past month, could there have ever been a more fitting word describing our sector than in the word "mettle"? Insert the words "the constant and unrelenting interference by the Fed/Treasury-sanctioned bullion banks" for the word "difficulties"; insert the words "egregiously overbought condition" for the words "demanding situation" and the definition might be appropriately restated as "the ability to cope with the constant and unrelenting interference by the Fed/Treasury-sanctioned bullion banks or to face a(n) egregiously overbought condition in a spirited and resilient way."

The Geopolitical Winds are Shifting / Politics / GeoPolitics
How do you define terror? Perhaps, because of the way the term has evolved in the English language, one wouldn’t call the west ‘terrorists’ per se, but ‘we’ are certainly spreading terror and terrorizing very large groups of people. Yeah, bring on the tanks and parade them around town. Add a marching band that plays some war tunes.
The ‘official’ storyline : at the request of the US, Gibraltar police and UK marines have seized an oil tanker in Gibraltar. The super-tanker, 1000 feet (330 meters) long, carrying 2 million barrels, had stopped there after sailing all around the Cape of Good Hope instead of taking the Suez canal on its way, ostensibly, from Iran to Syria.

Gold Price Trend Forecast, Long and Short Plays for Traders / Commodities / Gold & Silver 2019
The last few weeks for gold trader has been really exciting. Let face it, metals are starting to outperform us Equities late in a US stock bull market and we all know what that means. If you don’t know what I mean check out these charts!
Recently I posted an exclusive gold analysis article on Gold-Eagle.com talking about the next big moves and timing for the price of gold. Things are about to get much more exciting and life changing for those involved on the right side of the move.
In fact, in the next week, I will be sharing the absolute best way to take advantage of the gold move and it is most likely the exact opposite of what you are doing/plan to do. Recently Eric Sprott (Canadian billionaire, precious metals specialist) talked about my analysis and he touched on this gold trading strategy as well.

The Lucrative Profitability Of A Move To Negative Interest Rates / Stock-Markets / Negative Interest Rates
"Following the money" can be a good way of unraveling complexity. Sometimes what the technical jargon is covering up can be as simple as Insider A handing money over to Insider B in massive quantities - and when we understand that, our whole perspective can change.
In this analysis, we will explore how a potential future of negative interest rates in combination with quantitative easing could become one of the largest redistributions of wealth in U.S. history, with hundreds of billions of dollars in profits going disproportionately to insiders - at the expense of the general public. As illustrated with a step by step example, when we follow the money - $279 billion out of every $1 trillion in newly created money could end up going straight into the hands of organizations and individuals who make up a relatively small percentage of the nation.

Modern Monetary Theory – Applications in the 21st Century / Economics / Economic Theory
Perhaps one of the biggest frauds perpetrated on the citizens of the world in the 20th century was Keynesianism. For those of you who are new to the discourse, Keynesianism was essentially the ramblings of a well-respected (at the time) economist named John Maynard Keynes and it dealt with deficit spending at the level of the federal government. It was a justification for something governments around the world were beginning to do anyway. The point of Keynes’ work was to give this very dangerous and ill-advised practice legitimacy. Sadly, it worked, and 85 years later, the developed nations of the world are mired in debt the likes of which the world has never before seen and may well never see again.
Before we get to the true purpose of this paper: an analysis of MMT, we must lay some foundational work. Please bear with us. If you have been an active reader of our previous articles and research, feel free to proceed directly to the portion where MMT is addressed.
Interestingly enough, the topic of this paper; (another consequence of treating economics as a debating society instead of a science) the foundations of modern monetary theory (hereafter MMT) actually originated long before Keynes wrote his seminal work in 1936. MMT as it is being rehashed today was actually first described by a German economist name Georg Friedrich Knapp in 1905. Originally coined ‘chartalism’ by Knapp, this perversion of economics was pushed in Knapp’s 1905 ‘State Theory of Money’. The term comes from the Latin root charta, which means ‘token’ or ‘ticket’.

Palladium Sets Up Another Double Top Pattern / Commodities / Palladium
Is this Double-Top setup in Palladium another warning of a potential downside price move? Back in April 2018, we issued a Double-Top pattern warning in Palladium which preceded a downside price move of nearly 28%. We believe this new Double-Top pattern may prompt a downside price move of nearly 20% – targeting the $1240 level.

US Monetary Growth Slows. Will Gold Price Accelerate Now? / Commodities / Gold & Silver 2019
The growth of the US money supply has slowed down! We invite you to read our today’s article about the sluggish American monetary inflation, and find out whether it signal the upcoming recession and good times for gold.
We have long been warning our Readers about doomsayers who spread excessively pessimistic viewpoint and scare investors with the monster of recession. Our thorough analysis suggests – the gold bulls could not like this conclusion – that we have a Goldilocks economy and the current expansion still has room to run.
However, we do not downplay the risk of recession. We are not like many market pundits who express naive optimism that this time is different (we are neither the eternal doomsayers who see writings on the wall everywhere). Instead, we are constantly monitoring economy closely to provide you with the in-depth and data-based analysis.
